Viento

Too many XC/trail hardtails focus too much on saving a couple of grams, and not enough on ride characteristics in my opinion. I have ridden lightweight carbon and aluminium hardtails that make me cringe and pray that they are going to survive the next rocky section on the trail, as they flex around under me. For me, I personally hate the feeling of riding a bike that I don't have faith in. If I can't trust a frames strength, how can I possibly have a fun ride, and pedal harder and go faster?

The Viento is all about the ride. This is a frame that achieves what, in my opinion, is the ultimate goal for a bike of this sort - the ability to let you forget about it. You will never feel the frame flex around underneath you as you pedal hard up a technical section of trail, as the seat and chainstays are internally ribbed to make this frame the stiffest in its class. The frame has a nice comfortable ride as a result of the 'shock block' taking the edge of all bumps. You will have confidence to pedal this bike down high speed single tracks, where before you just free wheeled.

Essentially, when riding the Viento, you will never ever feel that this frame is holding you back or causing you any concern while out on the trails, which means that you will be able to focus 100% on the trail, the scenery, and having a good time riding with your mates. That is what mountain biking is all about, and we designed the Viento to give you that enjoyment.
