Cold forged asymmetric hourglass head tube: Light weight yet strong enough to accept up to 6” forks, compatible with deep cup headsets. Custom triple butted and hydro formed custom half RAD top and down tubes: Unique tube shapes for a stiff and light weight front triangle, integrated hydro formed down tube gusset for strength at the head tube. Extruded shock basement: Lightweight monocoque shock mount with integral cable guide. Hollow extruded bottom bracket shell: Bottom bracket and main pivot housing are extruded in 1 piece for light weight and stiffness. Double sealed needle bearings on main pivots: The high strength, stiffness and long life of needle bearings make them ideal for suspension pivots. They are much lighter than a ball bearing with the same strength and produce a pivot that will not get sloppy and loose over time. 2 seals on each bearing keep the dirt out. Heat treated hollow stainless steel pivot axles: Provide an ultra hard surface for the bearings to run on and give years of corrosion free performance. Hollow core reduces weight. |
