In the new world of suspension designs, the new Banshee Pyre is the state of the art in virtual pivot “all mountain” suspension systems. After analyzing thousands of computer generated models and simulations, we have created a suspension system that pedals effortlessly yet gobbles up bumps like a bike racer at a buffet.

Our new virtual 4-bar (V4B) pivot system decouples the dynamic forces from bumps and pedaling so the Pyre rides plushly over bumps while maintaining incredible pedaling efficiency. This bike rips up high speed bike parks, grooves tight twisty single track and has more climbing traction than a hardtail.

The Pyre’s custom triple butted ½ RAD tube set is light enough for marathon racing and the hydro formed down tube with its integral gusset is strong enough for all mountain freeriding with forks up to 6”. Our exclusive internally ribbed seat and chain stays are joined with a unique triple cavity wishbone tube to make the rear end strong, stiff and predictable. The 3 major pivots run on heat treated stainless steel axles and sealed high strength needle bearings for durability.

Our innovative use of extrusion technology on the bottom bracket, seat stay yoke and shock basement keep the weight to a minimum and the cold forged lower link and dropouts give a solid feel while you’re grinding it out. The Pyre can be built up between 25 and 35lb.
